Reflecting on a year of Care Opinion in England
Gold Ring 1:
Southern Health NHS Foundation Trust started using Care Opinion within a couple of their services to maximise on their innate passion for listening to patient and carers voices within the Trust. Carer and service user involvement lead, Alex Clements wrote this blog; The Story so far to hi-light the great work they started piloting Care Opinion with Urgent Community Response Services within Mid and North Hampshire. After the great success piloting Care Opinion, the Trust have now started their journey rolling Care Opinion out across the whole Trust and we are super excited to support them on their journey.

Back in March 2023, the Macmillan Information Centre at Chesterfield Royal Hospital added Care Opinion to to their App so patient can feedback about their cancer care while accessing appointment information, read the full blog here: Macmillan Information Centre and Care Opinion work together.

Patient Experience Advisor, Rachel Walker at Chesterfield Royal Hospital NHS Trust shared her blog on 'Reinvigorating Care Opinion' after joining the trust after its initial first year subscribing. Its a fantastic read on how they went about the implementation, roll out, combining their forces with CIVICA and the Friends and Family Test (FFT) using Care Opinion Invitation Links. Rachel also talks about their aspirations for the future and what the hope to achieve working with Care Opinion to increase the voices from patients.
