A huge thank you to all our subscribers who took the time to complete our subscriber survey we sent out recently. It is so important to us to make sure we are supporting you to get the most out of your Care Opinion subscription.

We have put together a few slides to show the findings- you can download them below:

Super Six

There were some fantastic suggestions and thoughts from respondents about tools and features they'd love to see on Care Opinion, thank you! In fact, some respondent suggestions are tools that we already offer as a website feature.

We know site development moves at pace (the development team are constantly making improvements and adding new features #GoDevTeam) so it’s not always easy to know what is already available. We thought it might be helpful to summarise some of these ‘Super Six’ features here.

Did you know...

You can access a list of everyone who has been sent an email alert for a story?

All you need to do is open a story, go to the “activity box” on the right-hand side of the story, and click “Who has Care Opinion told about this story?” . It will tell you the name of colleagues within your organisation who have also received an email alert (including whether they have also read and/or responded). This can be really helpful if you receive an alert and you’re not too sure if other staff within your service (who may be better placed to post a response) have also been alerted.

We have a helpful guide for if you get stuck trying to post a response?

You told us that sometimes you can’t see the purple “post a response” box on a story, which causes delays in responding. It usually means you aren’t logged in, which can be tricky if you’re in a rush! So we have a handy guide that you can save and refer to if you ever get stuck!

You can schedule reports to give cumulative stats whenever you need them?

Need a report sent to your inbox, monthly, that summarises story stats from the start of the year? Our scheduled reports can be tweaked to suit requirements just like this! We can help you set them up, just send us an email or give us a call, or take a look at our pre-recorded how to webinar training session which covers this.

You can generate reports exclusively about your service/clinical area

We have a wide range of reports that can be generated automatically and set up on a schedule to be emailed to you automatically. Reports can include information exclusively about feedback shared for your clinical area/department/ and service/location.

Just let us know if you need help setting this up! Or watch our pre-recorded how to webinar training session which covers this.

You can view and update your own email alerts?

Does it feel like your email alerts aren’t quite right? Perhaps you’re getting alerted to stories outside your service that aren’t relevant to you, or maybe you’re not confident your alerts do include your service.

You can see what email alerts you have set up and alter them yourself. Simply go to your navigation panel, on the left hand side of the screen once you are logged in, click on saved things and then use the toggle to view all asset types or just “alerts”.

If you need support altering these, we are happy to help, just get in touch.

You can access and download/print locally all of Care Opinions print materials? Print materials include: postcards, pull up banners, customisable posters, flyers and even a selfie frame!

Here is a link to our materials page. These can help you  promote CO within your service, and we have a whole slideshow of great promotional examples from across the UK that we can send your way for some extra inspo!

Just drop us an email and ask us to send it your way.
