Add or change triggers on an alert

Error

Error updating site page. We've logged the issue, please try again later.

You can add some additional triggers to your basic alerts to help you manage your stories. For example, we can email you if your subscription hasn't replied to a story in a set number of days.

You can see and update your triggers in saved things in the drawer.

If you are an administrator you can edit the triggers on your member's alerts.

Editing default triggers

When you set an alert you have some triggers added automatically:

You can use the red square to remove this additional trigger, or you can use the drope downs on the last two triggers to  edit the options. Eg You can change "1 week" to be a few days or a few weeks, depending on your needs. You can also change "anyone in my subscription" to just "me" or "all linked providers"

In the picture above the person will receive an alert to say no one in their subscription has responded after a week to all stories. They will also be alerted if someone has responded to say they are "preparing to make a change" and have not updated this to "change made" after 4 weeks.

Adding additional triggers

You can also add further triggers to your alerts by opening up the "available triggers" section. This gives you these options

To add an additional trigger, use the  drop down boxes  to edit the trigger to suit you then click the green plus to add the trigger to your alerts.  You will see it move up to the list of current triggers

To remove triggers

Use the red square to remove any triggers you no longer need.
