I had to cancel an appointment for my father (98) as he was too ill to attend. I asked the person in the appointments team to put me through to audiology as I needed advice about getting his hearing aids repaired. The phone wasn't answered but the appointment lady offered to take my details and ask them to contact me. I received another appointment in the post, which I had to cancel as he is now too unwell to bring to a hospital. I have tried on numerous occasions to ring audiology and they never answer. My father is now left unable to hear as I do not know how to get access to a service that will repair his aids. It's very frustrating and upsetting.
