My elderly Aunt has been cared for at James Cook (latterly in Ward 11) for several weeks now.
She has been treated with such kindness and respect, it's more than just professionalism, it seems to me that the Medical and Social Work staff really CARE for the patients.
As my Aunt's representative, I have been kept fully informed as to her condition and treatment.
The hospital itself is clean and welcoming, with many facilities (Costa, M&S, dry cleaners etc).
Every facility I used was pristine, as was the ward.
My Aunt enjoyed the food and told me it was good.
It is so common to hear bad things about the NHS in the media - but I have to say that James Cook Hospital is excellent in every respect, and I would have absolutely no hesitation in recommending it to anybody else.
"My Aunt's care has been exemplary"
