At first I thought that I had a smudge in my glasses.
But, I came to realize that it wasn't my glasses, but that the 'smudge' was in my eye.
The smudge grew larger and darker and so I went to the Ophthalmology Emergency Clinic.
I didn't have to wait long to be seen by the most caring, knowledgeable and professional staff.
Tests and scans were performed and it was determined that there was a leaky blood vessel behind the retina that was causing it to bulge and was the cause of the dark 'circle' that I was seeing.
It was caused by stress.
It was determined that this is a condition that tends to resolve itself by the blood being reabsorbed into the body and the recommendation was to come back in three months.
I felt completely reassured knowing all that was done to diagnose this condition.
I cannot say enough about the superb care I received.
Every person I dealt with made me feel as if they were genuinely concerned for me.and I believe they were.
I have complete trust in this department.
"Superb Care"
