Before writing this review I really want to make it clear that the NHS is something I cherish and seek to protect against all the short term, market driven logic being peddled by recent governments, labour and tories equally - it should be free and excellent - not free and really disappointing.
Finchley Memorial is just not very well run. I've been there a few times - once with a young child with scarlet fever - 5.30 hours wait - and a lack a diagnosis - and today when I was i need of a tetanus booster after being bitten by a dog. I was told the wait would be 4.5/5 hours - at which point I went the Whittington - i was told by the receptionist that they had an 8hr wait - well i was seen at the Whittington within an hour, the staff were super helpful and I came away with my love for the NHS multiplied.
