About: Burnley General Hospital / Gynaecology

(as the patient),

Excellent care experienced on Gynaecology Day Surgery Unit at Lancashire Women & Newborn Centre this week.

Every member of staff I met, without exception, was helpful, polite and professional. I was made to feel that nothing was too much trouble, and care was taken to reassure and make sure all queztions were answered. This was also the case in theatre too. 

The environment was clean and modern, and great care was taken to ensure privacy and dignity were maintained. 

It was great to see 'Hello my name is' so well embedded. As a patient, this makes a huge difference.

Special thanks to Consultant Mr Willett, Matron H Donald and Julie on GDSU.

Well done East Lancs Hospitals - this is a service to be proud of.

Thank you for taking the time to tell us about your recent visit to the Gynaecology Day Surgery Unit within the Lancashire Women & Newborn centre, Burnley.

It is lovely to receive such positive feedback regarding the care and service you received during your visit and we are delighted to pass this on to the staff who will very much appreciate your comments as they always strive to deliver safe, personal & effective care.

It is also great to see that 'hello my name is' well embedded.
