I broke my fibula on Saturday 9th October and was given a 'backslab' plaster on that occasion.
I was treated quickly and with great care by A&E and Xray.
I saw a consultant on the following Thursday and had a half-leg plaster applied, again with professionalism and care. Waiting time was minimal and staff were charming and considerate.
I returned the following Thursday for an alteration to the cast, which was carried out with the same care as before.
Unfortunately it didn't cure the problem and so I returned on 28th when I was immediately given a replacement plaster cast which now allows me to walk with greater confidence.
At all times, all staff were friendly and compassionate and I was completely impressed by their professionalism.
All credit in particular to the plaster room technicians, whose work was fascinating to watch and who are clearly masters of their craft.
