"More info needed for Leeds Choose and Book"

I've received 2 choose and book appointment letters from NHS Leeds recently listing dermatology clinics in the Leeds area which I could pick from. But only some of them also quoted their address so how was I supposed to make an informed decision as to the clinics most convenient for me to get to?

And those without addresses were providers/locations I'd never heard of which left me totally in the dark. On phoning to get more information I discovered 1 of them was in Bingley - hardly on my doorstep when I live in Leeds city centre.

I told the telephone operative of their shortcomings with the letter content but she made NO comment and showed no interest in doing anything about it. Surely it can't beyond the wit of the NHS to include the address for every clinic/location listed?

I was sorry to learn of the lack of information given to you in the appointment letters. We apologise for the distress this has caused you. This is not usual practice and we would like to investigate this further. However we will require further information about who referred you to the service and who the letter was from to take this forward.
