I would like to sincerely thank all the staff on ward 7D who looked after my 84 year old mother-in-law. Although frail and obviously very ill with Parkinson's, staff tried all they could to help her and were very sensitive towards the family's distress, taking time to explain procedures and when finally she passed away were reassuring that she did so both peacefully and with dignity. In a world where the elderly are sometimes dismissed, I was comforted by the JR staff's professionalism and care (in all senses of the word).
"Excellent clinical and emotional care"
