Promoting Care Opinion on social media is a great way to show that your organisation listens and values feedback. You can use Care Opinion posts on social media to; show examples of good care, how your are learning from feedback, and to invite further feedback.
Sharing stories and responses on social media
You can share stories about your organisation on your social media channels. You can quote some of the story but you must always include the link to the full story on Care Opinion, and say that the feedback came via Care Opinion - Sharing positive stories as well as the not so positive stories is open and transparent and shows are learning from the people using your services.
This example from the Scottish Ambulance Service on BlueSky shows a quote from a Care Opinion story and includes the link to see the whole feedback. You can do this without creating a visual like they have.

Here is another good example on Facebook: Southern Health and Social Care Trust via Facebook.
You can also link Care Opinion’s social media accounts so we can give your post an extra boost. See the bottom of the page for our details
If you would like to include our web logo, you can find them here: https://www.careopinion.org.uk/info/link-to-us
Inviting feedback on social media
By actively asking for feedback via social media you are demonstrating that Care Opinion is your chosen platform for online feedback, and may help reduce people using other online, un-moderated sites to share their views.
There are few key points to include if you do this. Make sure you include that Care Opinion is separate (and independent) to your organisation. You can also say:
• Your service is working with Care Opinion
• Care Opinion makes it safe and simple to share feedback
• All feedback is anonymous and shared publicly on the Care Opinion website
• Your feedback is valued and you will receive a response (from your service)
• You can tell people they can share what was good, what could be improved and how they felt
• That Care Opinion could be an alternative to making a formal complaint
• Your story can help the service make improvements for others and inspire other people to access services
