Webinar: Respond Well & Demonstrate Impact

Thanks to everyone who joined our most recent training webinar, "Respond Well & Demonstrate Impact" on Thursday 11th December 2025. Whether you’re brand new to responding, or just wanted to brush up on your skills, we hope you left the session feeling more equipped and inspired!

We looked at the research behind what people value in a response, and recognised it’s not about being perfect. It’s about being human, thoughtful, and explaining to authors how their Care Opinion story has made a difference in your service. We also shared our best practice framework to help you feel more confident when writing responses, which is a great guide to keep handy when drafting a response.

Some key things we covered:

• Walked through the practical steps of posting a response on the Care Opinion site, including some trouble shooting hints and tips, and how to record planned changes

• Considered what people might want from a response, like feeling heard, respected and informed about what happens to their feedback 

• Gave examples of how feedback can lead to real changes in service delivery and improvement, and how to record these when responding
