I have been on the Trauma Ward for two days after I was called by a member of staff, telling me I was able to come in to receive an operation that I have been waiting to receive for 4 years now. When I received the news, I was very happy.
The staff have all been great, they're all lovely and talk away, the communication with the doctors and nurses has been spot on. I feel as if I have lots of room and that the ward is really clean, maybe a better view out the window would be good as I’m just looking out at the roof.
The food has been alright, it’s just your standard hospital food and I don’t really think it could get much better.
An improvement that could be made would be to see the physiotherapists and occupational therapist a bit more, as I haven’t seen them yet.
"The staff have all been great"
