Letter received from wife of patient from Limavady area.

Dear Dr Walsh,

I would like to thank you and your team for the excellent and very effective care you provided for my husband commencing in September 2022 and again in October 2022.

As on every other occasion, we have benefited from this outstanding service of providing acute care at home thereby saving bed space and NHS funds allocated to hospital stays.  Every member of the team was friendly and supportive as they carried out their tasks so professionally.  The family was so thankful that my husband's infection was treated at home so avoiding the strong possibility of losing his care package if his hospital stay extended to thirteen days,

Please pass on our family's gratitude for all the care and support we received.  Long may this cost-effective provision continue to meet the needs of the elderly in the community.
