About: Royal Devon & Exeter Hospital (Wonford)

Had some cysts on my eye so rang GP...29th in queue; went to Walk in Clinic...closed on Mondays. Cautiously opted for A and E as was in some pain. Obviously lots of people in the waiting area but triaged within about 25 minutes and referred to the Eye Clinic. Although on the same site they asked if I could take an eye selfie which I did at 11.30. They came back and offered me a same day appointment at 12.20! Small delay after initial eye test but prescrirbed anti biotics and hot compress treatment.

I guess I was lucky the eye clinic have a different system outside of A and E so did not have the long wait but this NHS patient very pleased with service received.
