I was sent to the hospital at the request of my GP. The department operated a GP walk in service so no appointment was needed.
I arrived at the department in the morning and it was fairly busy. After around 10-15 minutes I was called for my X-Ray by a very nice gentleman who explained to me what would happen.
After changing a lovely lady took me into get my X-Ray and it only took a few minutes. I asked how long it would be before my doctor received the results and she said probably a couple of weeks as they were busy.
After this I was free to go. In all I was in the department less than thirty minutes which was really good considering it was busy.
The next day my doctor phoned me to tell me he had received the results of my X-Ray. Well done to the staff for getting it back to my doctor so quickly.
