About: The Hoxton Surgery

(as the patient),

I was meant to have an appointment to see a doctor about a problem I have. But after waiting for 45min found out I was just seeing a medical student, so I left, very annoyed! I have seen a medical student before and that wasn’t any good.

Thank you for your feedback. I am sorry to hear that you were not happy to see a medical student. The Hoxton Surgery is a teaching practice for final year medical students and doctors in training. We have clear signs in the waiting area about this. Senior GP is always with the trainee doctors to support them. We have trained our staff to inform patients at the time of booking as whom they will see.
