(as the patient),

I had an operation on my wrist, as I recently fell and broke it, and today was the day I had an operation. After only finding out about my operation last night, I was extremely nervous as you can imagine, however the nurses and doctors I had were so reassuring and lovely and really made my operation a lot more bearable. It calmed me a lot having them around me.
