"Excellent care and communication"

About: Royal Victoria Hospital / Ambulatory Care Centre

(as a relative),

Accompanied my brother to an arranged appointment following a recent attendance at ED. Arrived at Zone B Royal Hospital at the Ambulatory Surgical Unit and encountered friendly and helpful receptionists who were extremely busy.

Reviewed promptly by Mr McKee (Consultant) and an urgent investigation ordered. Contacted by Staff Nurse Lisa within 48 hours and date arranged for the following week.

Attended for that with clear instructions with wait time expectations fully communicated. Regular communications from Lisa and Sister Mary during our wait were very much appreciated.

Good afternoon,

My name is Catherine and I am one of the senior nurses working in the BHSCT. As part of my remit I cover the Surgical Ambulatory Clinic which you attended.

I am sorry that your brother was unwell and had to attend ED and then undergo further investigations however I am delighted that you had a positive experience in the Surgical Unit.

I will pass this on to Sister Mary and team.
