I had a cystoscopy yesterday which resulted in being given an outpatient prescription form which I was told I must get filled today (Sunday), by driving a 60 mile round trip to the nearest hospital with an outpatient pharmacy open on Sunday - the Senior Medic assured me it was.
It does not open on Sundays. I cannot understand why they could not give me a prescription for a community pharmacy, and why their knowledge of the hospital systems was so poor.
