I attended the TIA clinic in October, 2022. I was nervous I had never been to this clinic before. I was greeted by helpful staff directing me in the main hospital, then a lovely young nurse who did my initial investigation in the stroke treatment room, a lovely lady.
My next encounter was with Dr McGinn and staff nurse Valerie. They both made me feel at ease as this was very nerve-racking. The nurse explained each step and encouraged me and the doctor let me know what she was doing throughout the appointment.
The MRI radiologist was also lovely and explained what would happen, again putting me at ease. The whole experience was carried out so professionally, with empathy and smiling faces. Very much appreciated.
To finish I rang for my results today and spoke to Danielle one of Dr McDermotts secretaries. She was so helpful and went above and beyond to help me with my query.
A*** to all the staff.
Thank you
