(as a carer),

In August 2022 my mother had to be admitted to hospital.

I want to thank the ambulance staff Ryan and Sean who were very professional and caring during our three hour sit outside the Ulster hospital then onto Lagan Valley. This was a very warm day and my mother was well cared for by them.

It was clear they are under significant pressures of under staffing . which should be reviewed. The ambulance crews in N.Ireland experience this daily

Thankyou for taking the time to share your very kind feedback. It is encouraging to learn of the excellent care your mother received from the paramedics. I wholly acknowledge and apologise for the frustration and concern your mother experienced with the wait to be admitted to the Ulster Hospital. The NI Ambulance Service and Hospital trusts are all very aware of the ongoing and current system-wide pressures, but by no means is this an excuse for your experience.

I can say there is nothing more valuable to hear feedback from the service user, their family and the carer/s. I would very much like to share your positive feedback with the crew directly.
