About: Craigavon Area Hospital / 1 North Cardiology

(as a staff member posting for a patient/service user),

The staff on this ward have been a great help, I’m in a bay with 4 other men which is good as they keep me company, I find it very hard trying to pass time here as there hasn’t been any visitors and there isn’t any TV.

The ward is really clean and the facilities are very close to this bay which is great, as I don’t have to walk far to get to them.

The food isn’t the best but it does the job, I do enjoy the breakfast because it’s fresher as they make it here on the ward.

I appreciate that it is hard not having any visitors. At least the men are able to keep you company.

Hopefully visiting will return soon. You could get your family to arrange a virtual visit, that might help to see a familiar face.
