"Kindness, care and professionalism"

About: Scottish Ambulance Service / Emergency Ambulance Victoria Hospital / Accident & Emergency Victoria Hospital / Cardiology

(as the patient),

I was taken to Victoria Hospital in Kirkaldy by ambulance and was treated initially at A & E but later transferred to Ward 21/CCU.

I was treated with such kindness, care and professionalism by every member of staff involved right from the 999 call being answered to me being discharged yesterday.

I cannot praise all the wonderful staff enough. They do such a terrific job despite not having enough staff or hospital beds... Non of that is their fault.

I cannot fault anything at all to do with my stay and cannot thank the wonderful, caring staff enough for all their help in my time of need.

Dear Christine of Fife

Thank for taking the time to post your Feedback here on CareOpinion.

I am sorry to hear you have had to make use of our services and also the wider NHS. However it is lovely to read about the wonderful care given to you by everyone involved in looking after you. I hope you are feeling much better and are on the road to recovery.

I would be delighted to pass on your kind words to our staff, if you would like? As all posts are anonymous, the only way we would be able to identify the staff would be if you contacted our team at sas.feedback@nhs.scot with your name, address and date of call out. It would really helpful if you make reference to your CareOpinion username which will allow us to link up with this story

Thank you once again and take care

Lesley
