"The team kept things on schedule"

About: Victoria Hospital / Urology

(as the patient),

In the most recent difficult and trying circumstances of the Covid pandemic, the team at the Urology Unit kept things on schedule with my BCG bladder cancer treatment and had the utmost regard for patient welfare. Thanks go to all concerned from consultant Mitchell for his expertise and to all nurses who administered my treatments. Particular thanks to nurse Brenda for her gentle care in her handling of a stressful area! Thanks also go to those behind the scene, the cleaners, administrators and reception staff, without whom the outcomes would be much less effective,

Dear Ecosse,

Thank you very much for taking the time to provide feedback on Care Opinion. I am glad that your experience with the urology service has been a positive one. I will ensure that your experience is shared with Mr Mitchell, Brenda, and the rest of the time. I am sure that they will be delighted to read your story and that it will be a morale boast for the team who have worked hard through the pandemic. I wish you well for the future.

Kind regards,

Dale Simpson, Senior Charge Nurse
