About: University Hospital Wishaw / Trauma & orthopaedics

(as a parent/guardian),

The care my son received from Orthopaedics and Children’s ward 20 was exemplary. I cannot speak highly enough of every member of staff. The orthopaedic dept have been diligent in their follow up post op, the nursing staff have kept us informed of everything on the journey and nothing is too much trouble. The cleaners are very thorough and the dinner lady is lovely. I can honestly say that my son has had the best care we could hope for. Many many thanks to all involved. 

While it is really impossible to single people out I do feel I would like to mention Mr Bodo/Gillespie/Grant/Abbas and Leith the staff grade.  Nursing care has been absolutely excellent especially Laura on ward 20,  and all her nursing colleagues. 

My son (14) felt involved in all discussions and there was opportunity to ask as many questions as we wanted which helped allay our worries. Also a special mention for the radiographers who also took the time to explain Everything and reassure us. Thank you again.
