About: Whiteabbey Hospital / Pre-Assessment Unit

(as a service user),

I was taken very quickly and the nurse did my blood pressure, temperature , heart trace, took my blood samples, measured my height and weight. The nurse made me feel at ease and comfortable during this and as soon as she was done I was transferred into another room to speak to the pre assessment nurse. She explained the procedure and process of my operation and asked me loads of questions about my health and well-being. Again I was treated with dignity and respect and made feel comfortable. She answered all of my questions and was very knowledgeable and helpful.

Thank you so much for taking the time to give such positive feedback. The staff all work very hard to ensure that all our patients have a positive experience on their surgical journey and I am extremely proud of them. I will pass this on to the staff, who appreciate any feedback from their patients.
