"True angels looking after you at your most vulnerable"

About: University Hospital Wishaw / Day Surgery

(as a service user),

After pathology results,  I was required to return to hospital for further surgery. 

I felt comforted that some of the team on duty remembered me. I would like to give special thanks to Tracy and Alicia for their outstanding care and support. 

Tracy booked me in and got me all prepared and comfortable prior to my operation.  She was checking on me throughout the morning and giving me plenty of care and attention.  This made me feel comfortable and at ease.

After my operation Alicia made sure I was comfortable and cared for.  She was so helpful and kept my spirits up till my husband arrived to take me home. Alicia was so caring and kind.

The whole team work hand in glove and are amazing at keeping everyone comfortable and at ease . The Wishaw Day Surgery team are a credit to the NHS and are true angels looking after you at your most vulnerable. 

Thank you again for being amazing.
