"All the staff were incredibly caring"

About: Borders General Hospital / Stroke Unit

(as a relative),

My elderly mum in law ended up in the hospital, mostly ward 14 for an extended period as she was unable to return home and needed residential care. All staff were incredibly caring whilst remaining professional. They took time to get to know her and make her as comfortable as possible. My mum in law has thrived so I would like to say a huge thank you. You are all wonderful people doing a brilliant job, often in very difficult circumstances.

Thank you for taking the time to share your thoughts we shall ensure that these are shared with the ward team.

It can be a difficult time for both the patients and family when a loved one is no longer able to return home, it is heartening to hear that she has thrived during her stay within the Acute hospital, we wish her all the best going forward.
