I first met midwife Emma when I was 37 weeks pregnant. I instantly clicked with her and trusted everything she said. The next time we met was in my home when she was doing postnatal checks on myself and my baby.
She really made both myself & my partner feel relaxed & informed about all the questions we had for her in the difficult early days with a newborn.
Emma returned several times as our baby had jaundice and we both felt the consistency of having the same person (which wasn't planned) helped us, especially someone with such compassion and professionalism about her job.
Emma is obviously very passionate about her role as this reflects in her interaction with not only myself as a new mum but how she cared for our baby. She is a credit to your team and the NHS.
