"Appointment cancelled after waiting a long time"

About: Borders General Hospital / Cardiology

This is a follow-up to previous comments made by me regarding the Cardiology Department at the Borders General Hospital.

Now, an update following a phone call from Borders General Hospital today. I have had my appointment at the Cardiology Department postponed for three weeks because 'the cardiologist is unavailable'.

Has no-one any perception of how important to me this appointment is? I am really upset that two days before my appointment, after waiting a long time and having had to make a lot of fuss to get it, it is cancelled.

I understand that there is no reason to show annoyance with the staff member who telephoned me. It is not her fault but someone should be ashamed of having let me down.
