I have been in hospital for three weeks now following a fractured hip. I have been well cared for and have been given good food.
The staff have all been excellent. Their communication has been very good. The staff attitude has also been very good - I really cannot expect much more from them. The only issue is that I am very lonely here on the ward with nobody to talk to and no TV - I cannot bear the silence.
All the food I have received has been lovely - it really has been like staying in a hotel. Although the portions are quite big and I am not fit to eat them all.
The only issue I have noticed is that I feel that I need to be getting more exercise than I am currently getting but the staff just seem to not have the time.
"Well cared for and good food"
