I was really down after having left leg above knee amputation.
I arrived at Pine Cottage and received a warm welcome. From then on I was treated with respect, dignity, kindness and care. At shift changes I was greeted with smiling faces behind masks, and asked was I alright and did I need anything? Mother hen guided her chicks , always around checking everything.
It is the cleanest hospital I have visited, just like a military hospital, forever being cleaned. Food is very good, and plentiful and caters for special needs.
Without the guidance and drive from the physio I will not be walking with knee joint in 3 more weeks time.
