"Failure to inform"

About: The Barkantine Practice

A GP refused to prescribe repeat medications for no reason - no contact at all, no explanation leaving without medication for several weeks. Actually was allowed to see a GP - not the one who unprofessionally ignored me and though the matter was resolved. Sadly, 2 more medications have been "banned" again without any contact to inform me. Seems that now I am old I can be ignored and shoved aside to become ill and save them the bother of having me as a patient. Symptoms of not having medication are worsening but request for contact has been ignored.

Dear Patient

I apologize on behalf of the GP and everyone at the Barkantine Practice. Please know that your situation was an exception. As you can see on other reviews, we are known for taking ownership and caring deeply about our patients. We can’t fix the past but you have my personal commitment to improve the way our staffs serve every patient. Until then, please accept my sincerest apologies on behalf of everyone on the team. I would be grateful if you can kindly email me at nelondonicb.barkantine@nhs.net so I can resolve this issue for you.

Best Wishes,

Anne Namgbeh
