After finding a lump in my breast just over a week ago my doctor referred me to the Peggy Wood clinic. I arrived today and was greeted by a very polite caring receptionist who took my details and got me sorted in the waiting area. I was then shown to a dr , then to have a mammogram, then to have a ultrasound before being informed that I had a breast cyst. They were able to drain it while I was there.
All the staff I meet today were friendly and happy and made me feel at ease. We had a laugh which was lovely as I had been so worried about what the outcome might be. They were able to do everything within 90 mins and I left knowing that everything was ok. The treatment received today was amazing and I am so grateful to the staff for making what truly is a worrying time into an amazing experience. Thank you all so much.
