"Blood Test Problem"

About: Warwick Road Surgery

I gave a blood sample which was to be tested at the Cumberland Infirmary. There were still no results after some weeks. I visited the practice in person to ask if they could check the progress of the blood test. I was told that this was impossible and that I personally would have to chase this up. I was even offered the telephone number of pathology at the hospital. The next day I rang the hospital and was told in no uncertain terms that no information regarding the progress of a blood test could be given to a patient and that the responsibility was solely that of the doctor's surgery.
