From the time I was told I was going to be discharged on the Friday morning, it turned out there was a 36 hour wait. The delay was due to the hospital and the trust delivering the mattress. The care home was ready from the Friday morning for me. I couldn't find fault with the admission into here.
The admission was good - they were here to welcome me in and as I cannot walk the transfer to the lift and up to my room was very well done. I was made comfortable. I had the choice of sitting up in the chair or of going to bed. I was given a cup of tea and a snack which was what I badly needed. The nurses are good, the carers are good.
The food is excellent, it is always warm. The staff are friendly and attentive, and are a good support with the Steady which is vital for transporting me. The room and decor is clean and tidy and kept clean.
"Good support from care home"
