What is going on in this practice? A changed repeat prescription system is in chaos and I find only half my meds have been passed to the pharmacy. Recently I spent 15 minutes holding on the phone to try to talk to a member of staff with no idea where I was in the queue and still no reply. I have had 3 appointments cancelled at the last minute, once when I was literally going out the door. My medication review was due November 2021. On a previous occasion when I fell at home with a existing spinal problem, the ambulance crew, who arrived after 6 hours, rang Martello to ask for details of my ongoing condition so that they know how to move me. A GP refused to come to the phone and I was left untreated. This incident was severe enough, though, for my planned spinal op to be brought forward. My letter of complaint to the practice manager was, surprise, surprise, ignored and I received no response. I bet if I was a private patient I wouldn't need to submit this review. I have close relatives in the NHS but how long can the Covid excuse be reeled out to cover inefficiency at this practice.
