"Still waiting for a follow up appointment"

About: Mersey and West Lancashire Teaching Hospitals NHS Trust

Constant blinding headaches, struggling to see clearly.

Referred to this department after having eye test as they we're unsure of what they had found.

The specialist advised to have an mri Scan which was completed in February 2022 after 4 consultations.

Several phone calls later to chase up a follow up appointment and still do not have it. Phone up in the mornings to be constantly told that the person I need to speak to is on their Lunch. In this modern day 6 months to get an appointment is a utter disgrace......... Sort this out please

Good afternoon. Thank you for taking the time to provide feedback about your unsatisfactory experience that has been going on since February. Unfortunately we cannot respond fully to anonymous feedback. To enable us to help you with your concern, we need some more details. Please contact the PALS service pals@sthk.nhs.uk or 0151 4301376 where your case will be allocated a PALS officer who will help you. If you are experiencing constant blinding headaches, please visit a local Emergency Department for assessment by a Dr.
