My wife, who was suffering with advanced cancer, was taken in to FVRH suffering with pneumonia. She went to A&E, CAU, AAU and finally ward B31.
Whilst in B31 she was given the best possible care, and I was given the best possible support by the team on that ward especially, Rachel, who went above and beyond in every possible way.
If anyone in the NHS wants to see how a ward should be run then go to B31 and watch Rachel at work. She is efficient, considered, considerate, caring, helpful, compassionate, effective, dynamic and she and Connor run the ward absolutely brilliantly to the benefit of both patients and staff.
Praise too to the team members on duty when my wife died. Again, they couldn't have done more for my wife, me and other family members.
"Given the best possible care"
