"Excellent care and professionalism"

About: Scottish Ambulance Service / Ambulance Control Centre Scottish Ambulance Service / Emergency Ambulance Victoria Hospital / Accident & Emergency

(as the patient),

Working within NHS Fife, I am biased about the care and service we deliver to the general public. Yesterday being on the other side of the service makes me even prouder to be part of an excellent organisation. From the call handler, apologies I don’t remember your name, to paramedics Robin and Ange from Dunfermline, to Dr Tom who is 4 months into his A&E stint, the nurses and consultants, words cannot describe how thankful I am for the excellent care and professionalism you showed me and made me feel safe in your hands.

THANK YOU x

Dear Tr53sar

Thank you for your kind words about the crew that attended you.

I do hope that you are feeling better.

If you would like me to pass on your thanks to the crew and have them commended could I ask that you contact out Patient Experience Team at sas.feedback@nhs.scot with your details (name, username, date and address where we attended)?

Kindest regards

David

Dear Tr53sar

Thank you for taking the time to leave us such wonderful feedback. It always very different being the patient when you are normally part of the NHS Fife team. Requiring urgent care I know can be a daunting experience for all of us, it is lovely to see that your experience was positive and the team really supported and cared for you well. This is great to hear. We will share your experience with the team, especially Tom. Myself the Emergency Department team wish you well with your recovery, and it was lovely to hear from you. Please take care, and thank you again, we really do appreciate feedback.

Kind regards

Jamie Doyle, Emergency Department.
