Had been waiting for a follow-up appointment I was told was necessary, calling and leaving multiple voicemails: no one ever got back to me. In the end, after 4 months, my mum rang, who isn't even under the cardiology department, and received a call back within the hour.
There is something to be said for young women being routinely dismissed, resulting in a quarter of a year of ignored calls. I understand there is a backlog and others take priority, but this does not explain a failure to even acknowledge a voicemail which would take two minutes. It is exhausting.
