I was brought into Torbay Hospital by my wife following a suspected TIA, as there were no ambulances available. I was triaged immediately and TIA confirmed by Doctors. I was given clot busting drugs, 2 CT scans and transferred to Bay 4 on George Earle Ward.
The care I was given was second to one and nothing was too much trouble for the Nurses, HCAs and ancillary staff. I was overwhelmed by the care, compassion and attention that patients were given during my stay. Both HCAs Ron & Lea nd the two ladies who wre on duty on Saturday night stood out from the rest.
The care I observed for other patients was also was exemplary. These people clearly deserve to be recognised.
Thank you for looking after me during my four-day stay. Miss you already.
