"Falls in a care home"

About: Urgent Community Response / Bassetlaw Urgent Community Response Team Westwood

(as a carer),

My wife has dementia and went into a care home for respite so I could have a break. My wife was in for just over 26 hours and had 4 very bad falls. She can no longer walk as a result .

The S.P.A. team were very good with a quick response and help. All the team from rapid response, the nurse, physio and O.T. gave 100%. They were very helpful and caring with my wife.

Thank you for taking the time to give us your feedback.

It's great to hear that the whole team were so quick to respond, I will pass on your thanks and comments to them.

We wish you and your wife all the best.
