"Hospital home team were caring"

About: Older People’s Services / Hospital at Home Southern Sector

(as a service user),

Last week I had a kidney infection and I was not very well. I rand my doctor and he sent the hospital at home team out and they were absolutely brilliant. They got me sorted in a few days and I did not have to go to A and E. They are a very caring team and I hope this practice can be kept gonig and extended. It saves people having to go into hospital and they can get better quicker among there own family.

Hello,

Thank you for taking the time to leave the Hospital at Home team such lovely feedback.

It was our pleasure to be able to treat you in your own home and we are so glad to hear you found the experience with the team positive.

One of the goals of the Hospital at Home team is to avoid admission where possible to hospital. It was great you did not have to attend the A&E department, this results in easing some of the pressures on our colleagues within the hospital which can make such a huge difference.

We as a team wish you all the very best in your recovery.

Kind regards

Sara Dalton
