About: Whiteabbey Hospital / Day Rehabilitation Unit DRU

(as a service user),

I attended the Day Rehabilitation unit in May 2022. I was made to feel very welcome and relaxed. Although the appointment was 3 hours long, everyone I spoke to were so friendly and helpful.

Nurse Beverley was professional and made me feel at ease. Louise the physio was extremely helpful in the field of work. The exercise leaflets were easy to understand. Leone my occupational therapist tried so hard to help in any way she could, especially helping to fill out application form for blue badge which will make a great difference when it comes to stopping.

All in all everybody I have seen at this unit have been exemplary in helping me with my knee problem.
