"The entire team has been excellent"

Following a mitral heart valve repair and a CABG some years ago I had a pacemaker/defibrillator fitted last year and was then referred to Rushcliffe heart failure team.

The entire team has been excellent. But the nurse I was allocated is simply one of the best healthcare professionals I have ever met, and can think of nothing I would consider could be improved.

Professional and thorough at all times. Explained what she proposed to do to optimise my treatment/medication at every stage. Was quick and open in responding to questions or changes in test results etc.

Was clear and concise. Took time to ensure I was ok, by actively listening.

Involved my wife in all discussions. And from the many blood tests she took - never left one bruise!

This service in the community is vital to maintaining the health and welfare of those referred to the Heart Failure team at Keyworth.
