"Very long wait in A&E"

About: The Ulster Hospital / Emergency Department

(as a service user),

Went to A&E with a broken wrist and sat for 9-10 hours watching as people who appeared to be drunk and were being abusive got priority. It seems that you have to make a scene to be seen!

Hi handsethd99

Thank you for sharing your experience.

I appreciate your frustration at experiencing a long wait and particularly if it appears that the order of being called was not as it should have been.

If you wish to have your case looked at and responded to on an individual basis, please email me at conor.campbell@setrust.hscni.net with your personal details (name / DOB / date and time of arrival).

I apologise for your long wait in Emergency Department and wish you a full and speedy recovery from your injury.

Best wishes

Conor
