I have recently just gave birth to my second daughter at peterhead maternity unit and can honestly say we could not have received better care either times. We will always be forever grateful for the amazing team who delivered my first daughter and quite literally saved her life by highlighting when she was unwell and had her transferred to the NICU so quickly. But also so grateful to all the team we have came across since who have provided us with much needed at times, reassurance and support, that it just felt so natural to give birth again at PMU. I feel lucky to have such a great facility on my doorstep with the lovliest staff. Special thanks to my midwife Natalie who was always an email away even on annual leave and knew us so well by the end of pregnancy number 2, and to Gemma who was just a dream during my second labour and made me feel very relaxed. Thank you to Vivian at reception who always greeted us with the biggest smile and was so helpful over the phone. And as a nurse myself I feel it important to highlight students Ellie and Hannah who will be a great assest to the profession when their time comes, such professional and caring attitudes. We have always spoke so highly of the unit and will continue to do so.
